Cufflink Wins Transport for Wales accelerator programme

Cufflink Wins Transport for Wales accelerator programme

Wow! What a whirlwind of a week for us here at Cufflink!

Last Thursday marked the final day of our participation in this year’s Lab by Transport For Wales accelerator programme (cohort 4).

Over the previous 12-weeks, we’ve been working alongside some of the best UK start-ups and our key business stakeholders to investigate novel and innovative ways to help solve some of the key challenges currently being faced by TFW and the wider group.

By better understanding the problem space we were able to leverage our existing Cufflink technology to build a solution that would ultimately benefit both TfW and its customers.

This culminated in us creating a demonstratable MVP and pitching our solution as part of a live in-person demo day at the depot in Cardiff to over 150 industry professionals

and …
well….
we WON! 😊

We’d like to thank everyone at the TFW innovation team (Michael Davies, Barry Lloyd, Matthew Lewis), our business stakeholders (Jonathan Evans and Rich Macpherson), the team at Alt labs (Imran Anwar, Adam Foster) and everyone else involved in executing a brilliant accelerator programme and showcase event at the depot!

Big shout out to Gary Piazzon from Porter and Jonathan Galloway from Clickflow, our fellow Cohort 4 members, and we look forward to working with you both again soon!

We can’t wait to build on the work already undertaken and do our little bit in helping create a better, safer rail system in Wales.

So now the hard work begins!
