Cufflink acknowledged as Privacy Champions ahead of 2021 Data Privacy Day

Millions of people are unaware of how their personal data is being used, collected or shared in our digital society.

Data Privacy Day aims to inspire and empower people and companies to take action regarding how their personal data is being used online.

This year, and as part of the wider “Data Privacy Day” events planned for the 28th January, we’re delighted to announce that we have been acknowledged as Privacy Champions by the National Cyber Security Alliance and are participating in a number of events on the day.

Data Privacy Day is a global effort — taking place annually on January 28th — that aims to generate awareness about the importance of data privacy, highlighting easy ways for people to protect their information and reminding organisations that privacy is good for both businesses and their customers.

This year individuals are being encouraged to “Own Your Privacy” by learning more about how to protect their data when online, with businesses likewise being asked to “Respect Privacy”. You can find out more here.

We very much see Cufflink as being part of these efforts and look forward to participating on the day. At Cufflink we’re developing a safe and secure App to help people and companies control how their personal data is used; helping them be both safer, and wiser when it comes to managing their personal data.
